Don't trust GPS

    I love my GPS, but there are those rare occasions when you say,"WTF."

    I'm going to the golf course last weekend, one I'd never played before, and I know that when I get off the interstate, it has to be a left turn. So my GPS says to exit the highway and to then to turn RIGHT. Just out of curiosity, to see what it was going to do next, I go ahead and make the right turn; after 100 yards, it says, "In 400 yards, make a U-turn."

    Stupidly frustrating at times.

    I have a Garmin, and rarely has it led me astray.

    One time it suggested a non-Interstate shortcut would save me about an hour, when in reality it added about an hour with all the lights. Otherwise it's been bang on, except for the whole driving-in-cities thing.

    IJAG, you should try some type of job associated with left turns only.
