Don't put those sports logos on your MySpace page!

    From King Kauffman on Salon.com:

The reason the site was deleted, the theory goes, is the guy who ran the site put official logos on it. He also runs Cubbies Baseball, a regular web site that is licensed to sell Cubs stuff. But he didn't have permission to put the logos on MySpace. So MySpace nuked it rather than send a cease & desist order.

That's OK. Cubs always have swillish Old Style beer to turn to.

Seems like in the case of a page like that, the guy ought at least to have been given the opportunity to remove the logos. No question it was a rights violation, but it seems heavy handed side as well as plain old bad business. Not a good way to keep what seems like an extremely loyal consumer.
