Sportscaster Coppock assaulted

WMVP-AM 1000 sportscaster Chet Coppock was nursing a shiner on his right eye after an incident outside Rosemont's Allstate Arena following Wednesday night's DePaul-Marquette basketball game.

Coppock said Jaime Waldron, 25, of Milwaukee was seated near him at the game, and he complained to Waldron about his abusive language. The dispute continued outside in the parking lot, where Waldron is alleged to have popped him.


Rosemont police said Waldron was charged with battery and a court date is set for March 6 in Rolling Meadows.

Coppock said his retina may have been damaged.

Here's an idea. How about we keep the threads titles to the point and leave the clever musings for the posts. It would clean up this board considerably...
