Former LA Timesman Roy Rivenberg came up with this doozie of a website.

It's a great parody of the Times website, especially the story titled "LA Times fires rest of it's staff."

Funny stuff, but surely he'll get a strongly worded letter about using the Times' flag and web page design, won't he?

    Haha. Priceless:

But the seaside metropolis has attracted plenty of attention on EBay. As the auction continues, a bidding war has erupted between the Pechanga Indian tribe, Google Inc., Donald Trump, and Al Qaeda. In response to State Department objections, Al Qaeda said it merely wanted to turn San Diego into a time-share resort, not a springboard for terrorist attacks on Los Angeles and Disneyland.

Click on "Print Version" in the left menu and also read the "LA Times axes last employee" story, followed by the Abrams Blog.

Is that a cameo appearance by a well-known newbie I see?

The "Work For Us" link is amusing, and it's nice to see they remember the importance of corrections. The archives, however, may be time-consuming.
