    I, for one, am genuinely disappointed that the world's Wallenda count hasn't been reduced by one.

    WTF? I remember his grandfather taking the final plunge. It wasn't pretty. I'm sure you were waiting to do handstands had Nik made a mistake and fell. Man, what's wrong with you?

    A couple of years back, I saw Wallenda perform a stunt in a Ringling Brothers circus in which he was on a small platform about 100 feet above ground without a net.

    I remember being quite worried I was going to see a death that day. All it would have taken is one small screwup for a split second.

    I still can't imagine watching that disaster with the 7-person pyramid with the Wallendas in tje Detroit circus in 1962, especially if I was a kid.
