DOMA unconstitutional (5-4); Court punts on gay marriage (no standing)

    Any minute now.

    I suspect it will be anti-climactic, but still interesting.

    Some speculation that Kennedy may go the gender discrimination route to invalidate Prop 8, which would be a massive curve ball.

    In an odd twist, CNN just reported that Obamacare is unconstitutional. Not sure how they got that from this.

    Language in the DOMA case suggests that the Court will dismiss the Prop 8 case on standing - so they're going to punt, as anticipated.

    Sounds like they'll say there was no standing to bring it since the state abandoned the case.
