    You should've used one of those electro-stimulator devices. He might not have been 100 percent, but he'd have been able to play.

    Caleb, who is now an 11-year-old Corgi, blew out his ACL about a decade ago when I was in college.

    My folks opted for the surgery, and I remember he having to stay in a 4-foot by 4-foot pen for a couple on months. Then the next time I went home, we were out playing soccer and fetch as if nothing happened.

    The surgery worked well on the previous family Corgi as well.

    My rott has torn two. Did the TPLO on the first one, and sutured the second. He's slowed down some, and could probably have gotten by without getting the second one done, but the first was pretty necessary.
