Maybe you could rent the roomate's house for a while or something?

For how long? Until my dog dies of natural causes?
My roommate stands to turn about $45k on this house because the market here is so hot, I doubt he will want to continue to rent it to me with that kind of money being bandied about.
It's not like I want to put my dog down, but sometimes in life shitty things must be done.

I could never put down one of my cats because I had to move. EVER. I'd pay twice my current rent to keep them. They're family. (at least til Mike kills 'em waxing poetic about Jessie Spano)

No one's trying to beat you up over this.
just trying to think of alternatives -- stay with a relative or friend and visit, maybe?

I've had my dog a year.

He's chewed up: a bed, an inlaws couch, five pair of pants, and the only reason he hasn't in a while is that we have to dogize the house when we leave or chain him in the back yard. Then he looks for ways to escape and has at times. The morning get to school routine is hell because he bullruns the door and then chases cars outside in the neighborhood. He's too fast to catch andwon't respond to commands. He gets tired, then comes back to the door.

That was an answer to a previous post. Sorry I didn't make the connection.

Are you suggesting he shoots his dog, daughter or wife?

You took on the responsibility. It's not right for you to have the dog killed just because it might be more expensive to keep him.

If the dog was sick and it would cost $3,000 for an operation, hey, do what you have to do.

But if your housing situation changes, you have to think of the dog.

Whichever one fucks up the house worse.

    Probably the dog, though.

You laugh at killing the daughter or wife, but wouldn't put down your cat?
    Who's the sick fuck?

It's just the random black humor of it all.
