Does This Strike Anyone Else As Pretty Tasteless?

Fox is planning a new reality show where someone gets laid off every week.

Except it's not some kind of game. It's real. New small business every week.

Well, it is Fox. Even their news is tasteless.

They had to toss the original working title ("Damn it, I'm good enough to work for the Cleveland Plain Dealer") because of copyright and brand infringement problems.

 

I originally missed the word "off" in the originally post.

So, um, yeah, this is tasteless. Especially so these days.

It will get canceled as quickly as "Osbournes Reloaded."

 

Hope this never sees the light of day.

If it does, Fox should go to is probably what we'll be shown in Hell.

 

Which would be a different level of tasteless but would air on the Playboy Channel rather than Fox.

My guess is that complaints will shuttle the project before it sees the airwaves. At least I hope so.

 

And where will it be shuttled to? The International Space Station?

 

It's a great idea. Everyone probably gets cash kickbacks. So the guy losing his job gets some severance.
