Does anyone read the Popeye comic strip?

Did it run in The New Yorker? Maybe it popped into Elaine Benes' subconscience.

Wait a minute -- Olive Oyl and Wimpy were an item??

Popeye has gone batshit crazy in the last couple of years. I think one storyline had Popeye openly hating Sweetpea, and another had Olive Oyl in disguise to be elected president of the Goons. Still better than Cathy, Dennis the Menace and For Better or For Inevitablity.

Also, Comics Curmudgeon (www.joshreads.com) is a quality time-waster.

    He embraces their S&M lifestyle.
Whoever draws Blondie deserves some praise though. She's gotta be packing 38DDs up there. Good lord.
