Does a columnist's picture need to be THIS big?

The most amusing part: His picture is so big, yet it gives you a hyperlink to enlarge it. The link (nothing against him), actually makes it smaller.</a>

  2. The Daily Reflector? That is a great newspaper name.
And beneath his photo is the word ENLARGE.
    Thanks, no.

The Kansas City Star sometimes blows up Whitlock's and Poz's mug shots online to make them about the same size. Don't remember if you can further enlarge them or not, but they can look pretty silly.

I honestly think it's possible that whoever did the production on this page simply goofed up and reversed where the small and enlarged photos should be.

No, but it's just on the web. Some sites have default photo sizes, so mugs become huge. KC is an example of that. I'm sure the photo isn't this big in print, and that, to me, is what matters.

That's probably what it is since you click to enlarge and it gets smaller.

Cut Nate a break. The layout on the Web wasn't of his doing, and I can personally vouch that the photo is no indication of his ego.

Click on the slideshow with pictures of people lining up to wait for *ECU* to return home from the HAWAII BOWL. And these aren't parents, either.
