I noticed that the official Dodgers media guide bio of GM Ned Colletti makes no mention of his roots as a sportswriter in Philly.

The full-page biography mentions that he's written four books, but does not say anything about his newspaper work. He went from sportswriting to media relations with the Cubs, then eventually got into baseball operations. The bio does find space to mention he attended the same high school as Broncos coach Mike Shanahan, former NBA GM Glen Grunwald and former NBA coach Jimmy Rodgers. Glen F. Grunwald?

Oh, Ned, why have your forsaken us?
