The "T" word - terrorism - has been used on Headline News in past few minutes.

Obviously, it's the oil-controlling terrorists who fear hybrids.

I wouldn't be surprised if the good doctor has a gambling or drug problem.

Set the bomb in the middle of the night and your chances of being spotted are pretty slim.

Lots of weird rumors floating around about this.
Dude who had his car blown up also ran the state medical board, the agency that disciplines doctors and the board had a meeting scheduled for this week where several doctors could lose their medical licenses.
The technical complexity of the bomb indicates that it wasn't some yahoo with a grudge, that the bomb looks more like a hit.
Sounds like some mafia bullshit or the beginnings of Grisham's next book, but very odd.

A doctor who can afford a Lexus living in West Memphis? The mind baffles.

I have to say.... how the hell was the guy critically injured by this.

The windshield is intact, and it only looks like the explosion went from the front of the vehicle forward.

Did someone have a remote detonator they hit the switch on when he was standing in front of his car? Because if he wasn't standing in front of his car... I just don't see it. The hood wasn't even blown off. Odd.

Put the device on the firewall between the engine compartment and cab. Shrapnel flies it cab and blows hood up.
