Do you think you will be at your paper this time next year?

Just kind of curious as to what people think about their current gigs.

As for me, my place has always been layoff resistant, but that's changing and if I'm still here in a year, my job will be different.

 

Are we sticking with just newspapers on this, or anyone in the biz, even if they're in mag/web/etc?

 

I don't know, what do you think?
It seems like the newspaper biz is in more turmoil, but maybe that's just my perception.
It can be open to all, or just newspapers, or all aspects of print media, or all media.

 

I put yes. Although the chain could have something to say about that.

Will probably be of my choice, but maybe not.

 

I should have my job. But in a year, I'm not sticking around to find out.

 

We'll see about that. I work in a good organization with plenty of job security. I'm not real worried.

I took a buyout so I definitely won't be at my paper this time next year.
