I'm a tenor, but my range isn't what it used to be, too many years of clean living.

I'm like Double J in this regard. Baritone, can't get as high as I used to, except on those occasions right after I've been to a football game as a fan and did a lot of yelling. For some reason that expands my range in both directions for a couple days.

To answer the original question, yes, but it's almost always when I'm by myself.

Bubbler, you should pop in the "Permanent Waves" CD on your next road trip and try to sing along with Geddy on "Freewill."

That song should suit your vocal range -- and musical tastes -- quite well.

 

I'm not as bad as Carl Lewis.
I come pretty close to on-key for some Dylan and Springsteen songs.

 

baritone here but on a rare occasion can hit the "elvira" low parts
