    I've only ever seen a copy of a microfiche negative of my birth certificate but it does have a seal. I have no idea if the original exists but I'll be in my home town around Christmas, so I might go have a look see at City Hall.

    I have mine, and I've needed it a handful of times over the years, usually at the DMV. If you don't have it, it's tough to get certain things in the 21st century. A job as president apparently not among those things. :)

    My parents have mine. Years ago I needed it to go on a cruise (back then you could just bring a birth certificate instead of a passport) but couldn't get to their place to get it as quickly as I needed it so I went to the county and got the raised seal copy. So now I have two.

  9. Nope, but I'm gonna need it to get my DC driver's license pretty soon. $20 + shipping from my home state plus $40 and the BS DC DMV is going to put me through. Praise God and G0d for that.

    The COLB is for all intents and purposes, a birth certificate. The birthers are splitting hairs claiming otherwise.
