Do You/Have You Dabbled in Any Other Mediums?

    Poetry has helped me with my writing a bunch. It allows me to use better analogies and metaphors.

    I attempted to turn a feature I wrote into a short story. It worked for a while, but trying to extend the story of someone who is still alive, and is not myself became kind of eerie.

    Seeing this thread reminded me of this one pesky piece of fiction I wrote several years ago and kept refining and refining. It's not short enough for a short story, and not long enough for a novel. I guess it's a novella. But I have no idea what the hell to do with it.
