    They changed the rules back in around 2008, after a post-9/11 grace period. I know I went to both Canada and Mexico without a passport in 2006, but you can't do that anymore.

    Wow. Then again, I haven't been on an airplane since 1994.

    I wonder if it's true that I need a doctor's note at the boarding gate for the two rods screwed into my back.
