You found a small U.S. Marine and carry him with you?
    In your pocket?
    How small is the guy?

    A minature Marine? Cool.
I think you mean Leatherman, made in Portland, Ore.
    I carry a small pocketknife.

Just a blue Duncan Imperial. Nothing fancy.

A banana in your pocket might give you a better effect. FYI.

Nope. I don't need it. I have a multi-tool thing that I keep in a storage area in my car, but I don't keep such things in my pocket. It doesn't seem very necessary.

Use to carry all the time but now only when not traveling. Found a great Swiss Army knife that has built in cigar cutter.

    Ewwwww.

Well, since I don't have the balls to do what he obviously did ... no, have never carried a knife.

Bingo. how much do you guys keep in your pockets? I carry a thin wallet (a credit card, drivers license, train pass) a cell phone, keys and a little cash. I couldn't imagine putting another heavy object in my pocket. If you need to open a box can't you just borrow someon's scissors? If you're a blue-collar worker and need it for a variety of things I understand but there's not much call for a knife in day-to-day journalism. Unless you're Clubber, of course.

Obviously you didn't cover the NBA All-Star Game in Las Vegas.

    I don't. But I wouldn't object to carrying one.

My father is never without his leatherman and my father in law always seems to have something like that when he's around.

My pockets rarely have more than a wallet, car keys and a cell phone. On vacation last week, I carried only my Disneyland parkhopper pass, hotel door key and a debit card.
