Do we having a running thread for citizens killed by police yet?

    Re: Tasers ... Buddy of mine is a firefighter and deals a lot with police. He said his city's officers have the taser on the opposite hip from their gun in a reverse holster, so you have to reach across your body to grab it. Seems like a pretty simple solution to me. And in response to another earlier post, I think the number of truly racist cops is pretty low. But I think the number of officers who fear black men in these situations is much higher. Maybe that's racist as well, or is it just from dealing with more black crime?

    This is crazy.

    Bad enough you let a 73-year-old man buy a badge, but to falsify records to allow his to do so has to be criminal.

    Having worked in politics, it's pretty amazing how cheap it is to buy politicians, and other government officials, but it still shocks me.
