Do girls like being called cute?

I remember I got a straight-up diatribe from a young lady in my college days that let me know "cute" is SO not the way to describe a woman. I use attractive a whole lot, with pretty and beautiful being the top notch way to describe a particularly hot girl.

 

I hate the word "hot." Instead, and I've always been like this, I use "cute." I've never heard a complaint when I call a girl cute. Generally, though, if I'm dating them, I'll occasionally call them "gorgeous" or "beautiful" in place of their name. Like "Hey, beautiful, what do you want to do tonight?"

 

And how's that working for you at the moment?

 

Mike, I like you. I really do. But there is great irony in you weighing in on this thread, or really any thread that involves women and how to please them.

 

I bet FoF would let Mike call him cute.

 

I haven't had any complaints in the last two years, thank you very much.
