    I really though there would be others on there that would appreciate a different kind of work.

    The Sportspickle stuff is a stretch for me, but I like his columns or articles or whatever you'd like to call it IJAG.

    Um, (hi mikey!) a column is opinion, an article is fact. Therefore, calling something a column and an article in the same sentence is kind of 'tarded.

    Is it just me, or is this trend of Onion ripoffs that feature parody sports writing REALLY starting to be completely tiresome and overdone, and often not done well, either.

    I think he writes for the Onion, and the Sportspickle site has been around for at least six years... so it isn't just a fly by night thing.

    But I do hear you on the Onion thing. I blame BLOGS!

    Somewhere, there's a clever young sports blogger who'll start tying movie quotes into sports scenarios...
