    Jeff Chadiha is leaving SI for ESPN, leaving only one African-American among the magazine's senior writers. Thoughts?

    OK, so they've still got the new guy who used to cover the Redskins (name escapes me), Greenfield, Phil Taylor and Michael Silver (on the inside).

    They should hire Whitlock to fill the Rushin seat...

    Although, I'm guessing SI can't afford Whitlock these days...

    The ex-Redskins guy is Nunyo Demasio(sp?) but he left SI a month or two ago -- for where, I don't know.

    Yeah, I don't know if it was voluntary or if he was part of the layoffs they had recently, but he's definitely gone.

    the funny thing is, saw a Canon ad a few months ago, a "team picture" of the SI staff photographers who use their products. looked to me anyway -- white males, every one of them ...
