The Wide World of Sports hosts dozens of events each week, and April is the start of the AAU basketball stretch that runs through the summer, ending with several national championship games.

There are also AAU events for volleyball and baseball, and the list goes on and on.

Obviously, you'd only be interested if the hometown team comes down to play. If so, drop me a line.

And don't forget all the college and pro stuff. There are a few Devil Rays games this year, Bucs training camp and Atlanta Braves spring training. In 2006, the complex also hosted some of the World Baseball Classic games. There are also marathons, Ironman competitions, you name it.
