Discovering Arrested Development

The gag reel on the Season Two DVD has a great rant by David Cross directed towards the Fox marketing department.

So many great lines in the series.

Lucille: Get me a vodka rocks.
Michael: Mom, it's breakfast.
Lucille: And a piece of toast.

And this classic from "The Cabin Show':
Michael: [The Cabin] is going to be up in Tahoe a couple more days. Maybe you could take a date.
Lucille: How am I supposed to find someone willing to go into that musty old claptrap?
[pause]
Michael: The cabin, yes.

 

Right after that in the cabin episode is one of my favorite exchanges. After Lucille leaves, Gob pushes back from behind the front door and says: "I didn't know we had a Cabin." To which Michael responds: "Ah, shit!"

 

I'm up to Season 1, Episode 7, and this is the funniest thing I've ever sen.

"He's a never-nude."
"Is that exactly what it sounds like?"

That is seriously so so so so so so so so funny.

"Excuse me, do these effectively hide my thunder?"

And later...

"I understand more than you'll ... never know?"

"Where is god?"
"There is no god!"

 

Has Tobias started acting yet?

 

It's as nose as the Ann on plain's face.

The Tobias/Mary Poppins bit when he crashes through the coffee table, as previously mentioned on this thread, was the funniest thing I have ever seen. The first time I saw it, I must have watched it 50 times and laughed until I cried.

That and Motherboy XXX.

 

Maybe I'll just take a wiz through this $5,000 suit! Come on!
