    Less than a year ago, I was hoping that $4.75 per gallon gas might kill off this terrible excuse for a sport.

    Yeah, Mark, I was hoping for that too. Kill the sport, unemploy a few hundred media, bring tumbleweeds to some of the nation's biggest stadiums and devastate half of North Carolina. After all, it's just rednecks turning left.
