Dingleberries

Bonus question - were Dingleberries named after a City in Ireland?

When my wife studied abroad, she visited Dingle, Ireland and did have some of their berries. She also found a random dog and brought it into a pub for Irish stew. That's all I got.

 

My dog gets dingleberries sometimes. Little piece of poo that has some sort of string or connection on it. It's hilarious, frightening and disgusting.
She'll stumble around the yard on her haunches, trying to push it out. Then she'll give up and waddle back into the house like we all would look if we'd just shit our pants. Sometimes the dingleberry will sway to and fro whilst she runs.
That's the hilarious part.
The frightening part comes a second later, when I realize she's going back into the house and is about to jump on the bed.
The disgusting part?
That'd be when I have to snatch her up before she can get on any furniture and wipe her ass to get the dingleberry out of there.

I was thinking of this very subject when preparing for a colonoscopy a few weeks ago.

 

Disgusting story alert:

We had to stop giving my dog rope toys because he would just eat them and not be able to shit them out. I would be pulling shitty rope out of there like a magician. It was awful.
