    DIGITAL MEDIA AND PUBLICATIONS COORDINATOR

    ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
    The Philadelphia Eagles are known as one of the more aggressive and progressive organizations in professional sports. It is an organization succeeding on many fronts.
    The executive offices of the Eagles' organization are located in the NovaCare Complex. This spectacular 108,000-square-foot-facility offers the very best in terms of space, amenities, care, and effort put forth for the players, coaches and staff of the Eagles' organization.
    Lincoln Financial Field is one of the premier sports and entertainment facilities in the United States. This stadium is managed and operated by the club, creating new opportunities and challenges for the organization.


    POSITION SUMMARY
    The Digital Media & Publications Coordinator will assist in the creation and management of editorial, multimedia and sponsored content for the official web sites of the Philadelphia Eagles and Lincoln Financial Field. Reports to the Vice President of Digital Media & Publications

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Writing news articles, blog posts, feature stories and game day recaps for team sites, e-mail newsletters, print and electronic publications.
    • Assisting with the maintenance and moderation of blogs, message boards, social media, mobile alerts and new interactive initiatives.
    • Providing coverage of all major events for the club's website, including the NFL Combine, NFL Draft, Mini Camps, OTAs and Training Camp, as well as organizational outreach efforts in the Philadelphia community.
    • Coordinate development and content for monthly electronic publication.
    • Conducting on-camera interviews and co-hosting football-related webisodes.
    • Operating the teams’ content management system to update and maintain their official sites on a daily basis, including nights and weekends, as needed.
    • Assisting in the production and development of online programming, including live press conferences, behind-the-scenes features, and video reports.
    • Designing and building new web pages, special sections, multimedia applications, registration forms and sponsored content for the teams’ web sites, utilizing HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator. XML, Javascript and Macromedia Flash software.
    • Coordinate rollout of new technologies, including WAP and Web 2.0 initiatives, such as social and media networks (including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites, blogs, and mobile apps as needed), video sharing and mobile TV.
    • Working closely with corporate sales department to execute online deliverables for corporate partners.
    • Interfacing with other departments to maintain and update specific site sections.
    • Additional duties as assigned by the Vice President of Digital Media & Publications.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Bachelor’s degree (in communications or related field of study preferred)
    Detail Oriented
    Ability to work independently
    Strong verbal and written communication skills
    Required computer skills: Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Website development and design
    Knowledge of digital/social media applications

    Philly's PR staff is the best in the NFL. I'd put Houston a relatively close second.
