  1. Those are disaster movies with huge casts. Apples and oranges.

You gonna go by Entertainment Weekly rules or SportsJournalists.com rules?

I'll take Die Hard over any of the Bournes, but the Bourne series over the Die Hard series.

Irwin Allen was greatness. I was Bourne too late.

Absolutely. "Alien" was more of a creepy, sci-fi horror flick. There really wasn't a lot of action in it at all. "Aliens" was more of an action-oriented thrill ride. The scene where the aliens break into the med-lab, and the humans have to fight their way out is one of the best action sequences ever.

As for Die Hard, it's definitely in the top five. Any list like this, you usually get four or five flicks that are interchangeable at the top.
One of my favorite throwaway lines from the movie...
As the two FBI agents are flying in the helicopter toward the Nakatomi Tower:
White Cop (excitedly): "Woo! Kind of reminds you of Vietnam, doesn't it?"
Black Cop (flatly, with a look of disgust): "I was in junior high, asshole."

    Ho.... ho..... ho

    Love that scene.

The coke-snorting asshole in the office, BTW, plays the main college guy in Breaking Away.
