The wife has had Hallmark Christmas movies where the likes of Valerie Beternelli and Jaclyn Smith mailing it in and I snapped ... If those count, so does Bruce Willis yelling Yippee-Kye-Aye M******F***** on Christmas Eve...

I've always thought of Die Hard as a Christmas movie.

Alan Rickman's measured deep, rich, staccato "Ho.... Ho.... Ho" is the clincher

He's right. It's as much of a Christmas movie as those sappy Lifetime/Hallmark nonsensical things

But is Die Hard 2 also a Christmas movie since it takes place on Christmas Eve?
If yes, then is William Atherton's Richard Thornburg the Grinch?

I've always thought that. The part where Gary Busey blows away Ebenezer Scrooge on TV and screams "It's Christmas!!" is the capper.

Die Hard and Die Hard II are absolutely Christmas movies. Even Comcast on Demand has them both under Holiday Movies this month, so that's proof enough for me.

    Or....
    Clay. Bill Clay.

One of my favorite exchanges of the whole movie is when the two FBI agents are riding in on the chopper to storm the roof. The white guys lets out a whoop and yells, "Just like Vietnam, huh!?"
His partner, not amused, deadpans, "I was in junior high, asshole."
