No. It was humorous and bizarro.

Why aren't we acknowledging a middle ground between Tiger Woods and Richard Sherman? It's not a choice between two extremes.

Anyway, my immediate impulse was, "moron." Now I just think it was amusing. But one thing everyone should drop is the notion that this was raw emotion that stands in opposition to vanilla press conferences. Sherman knew exactly what he was doing. It was just as calculated as Tiger, just in a different tone.

Richard Sherman will always be awesome because of this interview in which he eviscerates Skip Bayless and leaves Stephen A. Smith speechless.

Good job to Erin Andrews for asking the appropriate follow-up question, "Who is talking about you?" Seems like a no-brainer, but honestly, a lot of sideline reporters miss that follow up.

Agreed. She did a legitimately great job with something she couldn't have been expecting.

The racist-shaming is the best thing to come out of this.
Revealing Twitter idiocy - it's like administering a gastric lavage.
A lot of these rednecks wound up deleting their accounts.

Sherman going Hulk with Andrews or Namath going horn dog for Kolber?

Fans went to town on his Wikipedia page after the game.

And yet, in this case, producers reportedly cut the interview off because they decided it wasn't what their viewers wanted after all.

Regarding Erin Andrews, she asked him to take her through the play and he didn't. That's my only problem with it as an "interview." Otherwise, it was fantastic stuff.

You know, no one's actually called Tebow a piece of crap for thanking God.

Anyone ripping Sherman should be forced to transcribe Belichickian cliches from offensive linemen, over the next two weeks.
A cultural debate over something -intended- to be funny - only in this fool country.

Quit looking at twitter if that kind of stuff bothers you, folks.

Or they could transcribe interviews by thoughtful human beings like Peyton Manning and Brandon Marshall.

    There is a middle ground.
