Did I miss this becoming socially acceptable?

    Good, we thank you.
    Every time I read one of those fucking "fixed" posts I read the "new" quote and wonder when I get to read the punch line.

    I accept that I'm not funny. I've had a great deal of time to adjust to that sad reality.

    We all have our gifts. Just because I'm witty and handsome, I understand others are not.

    Of that I have no doubt.

    I tell my kids all the time: Capitalize on their gifts.
    I got the brains and the looks, they have to make do with what is left.

    Reminds me of this one story my Dad told me, a couple years ago my parents (both in their mid-50's) were out taking a walk when they run into the parents of this one guy I had been really big friends with years before. They begin with the customary hellos, but as soon as the guy's mother and my father are finished shaking hands, she starts out with a "Wow, did you get gray!"
