That story is so poorly written I really have little idea of the actual allegations here.

Still no idea what the alleged sexual misconduct was. Just an odd story. They got multiple sources to confirm the investigation, but couldn't get any of them confirm what the allegations are.

Given the lack of an actual allegation in the story, the thread headline seems a bit misleading. Perhaps it should be amended to:
Did a dozen Oakland cops commit sexual misconduct with an underage girl?
Obviously, you used the question mark, so it's not incorrect, but the allegation may not be that they had sex with her for all we know.

 

The not-self-interested police union will make sure any bad cops are drummed out.

 

The helicopter cam view is going to make for a terrible porn.

 

Somebody may have done something, but we're not sure, and we can't even tell you what it is.

The internal affairs investigation revolves around Celeste Guap, who allegedly had sex with more than a dozen police officers starting when she was 16, sources told KPIX5.

They quote KPIX instead of the KRON story linked earlier, so maybe the story originated at KPIX. I don't know. Headed out the door now though so won't be able to answer any more questions from the pern desk.
