i probably should have been more specific in the initial post concerning what this was about. i was wondering why this was getting so few of hits, probably my bad. let me edit the initial post and see if we don't get a decent discussion going here.

 

I haven't read it (actually, read transcripts and reviews), but didn't big daddy Bush warn against an invasion and occupation of Iraq in his own memoirs for the very reasons we're struggling with now?

Or, more to the point, he was against it before he came to own many millions of dollars worth of Halliburton stock. He was for it after he did.

I'm mellow enough from JD's gift to suggest that perhaps Mr. Cheney's view have been modified in the ensuing 13 years.
