Dice-K Coverage teetering on Imus levels?

    I wasn't trying to start shit, lord knows it's been done to death.

    I was just confused, because his post seemingly made absolutely no sense. I was wondering if I missed anything in it.

    It's in the lead.

    It was Dice-K's home opener, and it's a Boston story.

    They paid more than $100 million in order to have the guy here. It is "the" topic among Red Sox fans.

    Everyone went into the game expecting to read about Dice-K, and that's what the Globe provided.

    Elsewhere in the country, I am not so sure. What was the lead on the AP writethrough?
