Deuce McAllister torn ACL; out for season

Come on, BYH. There's more to RB than that.
Pissing match aside, this is a real gut check for him, though. I thought the problem with NO this year was that they'd gotten away from Deuce. That problem seems a bit moot now.

 

Saints will adapt. They'll make the playoffs. They'll lose in the first round.

 

It was Deuce's other knee. Terrible, terrible thing for him and the team. He was a good guy to deal with when I was on the beat, always hanging around to talk for as long as you needed to. He's tried to do a lot of good stuff in the community, taking some interesting real estate chances in Jackson, Miss., with his money. I hope his car dealership and investments set him up for life.
