    Hi

My name is Francis Leach. I'm a sports broadcaster with ABC (our BBC!) Radio in Australia.

I host a national sports breakfast program. I'm looking to find a knowledgeable person who I can interview about the city of Detroit, it's current crisis, and the role that its sports teams play in the life of the city.

Anyone feel they'd like to have that conversation with me?

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Regards

    Francis Leach

    Francis,

Do you want a journalist's prospective or a city leader's?

There are plenty of people on both sides you could talk to. Most would just be a google search away.

Tom Izzo and Michigan State will save the city.

    Next question.

And if not Tom, try Cecil Fielder.

    And yet ...

I think Francis would be tickled pink to interview Mitch.

I was particularly impressed with the exclamation point after BBC!

I would love to see Starman interviewed on this topic.

Francis, I sent you a personal message.

  9. I'm game, as long as I can talk about Faygo Red Pop and Vernor's.

don't forget to mention Better Made potato chips, coney dogs and Faygo Rock'n'Rye too. Talk about their annual Devil's Night 'celebration' too.
