    I've heard they have stopped with that arrangement.. they got sued over it by some former employees who were temps throughout their sometimes multi-year stay there.

    This is a job that a few years ago I would've killed for. And now, with all that's gone on there (including several people I know losing jobs) I wouldn't come near it. Really. There's a reason all those people left. Yes, even in this market.

    And if you do apply and get the job, be prepared for a LONG commute. There's no way you can live near Santa Barbara on what they're likely to be paying.
