I know there's a running thread, but I thought this was newsworthy enough for its own thread.

Please feel free to lock if not.

When the reigning MVP tears his ACL, it's worth a thread.

How glad are the 76ers that they didn't get hot for the stretch run and pass the Knicks?

The Bulls are more than good enough to beat the 76ers without Rose.

But after that, they are pretty much done.

I've got a lot of Bulls fans friends, and I'm seeing a lot of "we are so cursed this stuff only happens to us" posts. From a team that won *six* championships in their lifetimes.

This just hit me: The Bulls have more titles since 1990 than any other team in the big four sports.

Your point is well-taken, but it feels that way in Chicago right now. Cutler, Hossa, now Rose.

    Sucks for USA Basketball, too.

So now it's up to Tony Parker or Kevin Durant to save America from Lebron?

I still have faith that Lebron will save America from Lebron.

OUCH for Rose!! What's the recovery time, like 9 months or something long enough that it will stretch into next season?

You forgot, "the last 104 years of Cubs baseball."
