Yeah, yeah, insert own joke. Sounds like it's urgent, though.

My finest moment as an idiot freshman college journalist: Boldly predicting that Derrick Coleman would become the best power forward in the NBA by the end of the 94 season.

Someone else (or part of them) will get to experience the thrill of peeing on the floor in a restaurant because he felt like doing it.

  4. There was nothing wrong with that prediction at the time.
Coleman was the most talented freshman forward I'd ever seen.

    I like this quote:

'If I needed one, I'd call a press conference and be begging for one.'

What a self-indulgent lede to that story.

Ouch. If Vecsey got this one wrong - after totally botching the Sam Mitchell-doesn't-know-Andrew-Bynum-is-injured story earlier in the week...people might start to question the Post's credibility. ;)

    It's Gephardt!

I'll admit it, that made me laugh.

No question. Arguably the most wasted talent I've ever seen in sports.

For a second, I was going to suggest that Latrell Sprewell be the donor.

Didn't a lot of people think he needed a heart transplant while he was still in the NBA?
