I don't think it's fair to hate him because of Yankees fans' obnoxiousness or because Fox sucks.

That being said, it's too far into this thread not to have one of these:

He's no Dennis Kucinich. But I'd do him.

It's too bad Toronto has never had a player worthy of forming any type of opinion about.

    F Garth Iorg.

There is nothing to fight about here. It's really hilarious that someone would actually take the time to write something like that for publication.

Perhaps he meant to use the blue font.

Best point that could possibly be made here.

Does Dave Steib get no love from professionals?

While the author is having fun, he sort of shoots himself in the foot with this one. The logo on the wristbands is that of Nike's Jumpan brand. So that logo isn't of Jeter jumping anywhere, it is of Micheal Jordan.

Now back to your regularly schedule Jeter insulting.

Have we all forgotten about Pat Borders and Kelly Gruber?

    I guess so.

Doesn't Garth or Dane have some random place in Blue Jay history like first pick or first hit?

    F Jim Clancy
    F Alfredo Griffin
    F Willie Aiken
    F George Bell
    F Tom Underwood
    F Otto Velez

He didn't even name the second most annoying thing about Jeter: The lean out over the plate at that pitch on the outside black or just off the plate. How umpires still fall for that still annoys me.

    Fistpump is #1.

The writer also somehow got the idea that on the flip play, the throw was on line. Um, that's what made it such a great play, that it was no where near being on line, Jeter swooped in and got it to Posada to make the tag.

That said, there's some funny stuff in there.
