    Try all the ones who lost their staff to the regional centers.

    I could be mistaken, but most of the regional centers are for designers. Copy editors are still local.

    The copy seems to still be local, but a lot of those folks were cut, or spend much of their time directing the designers. I have a buddy at a place where they've been hacked down to the bone. Having 5.5 seems like it makes y'all some of the lucky few. The friend works at a place where sports isn't required to to be read by someone from copy (and rarely is).

    For the place I had worked at, and I'm sure, some others, copy editors were also the designers.
