    Post writers weren't fired when one attacked a beat writer from the RMN or when a hockey writer (not Dater or Frei) attacked a Minnesota SID, I think breaking his nose.

    Nothing will happen to Nat.

    Well, she's lasted 30+ years at one of the better papers in the country. Granted, she may have the lowest level full-time beat at that paper, but still.

    I don't know her or her work, but it's a mistake to assume that because someone has been in his or job for 30+ years that he or she is good at it. Even in this business.

    Inertia is a powerful force.
