    Not saying the Celtics were greatest team - just saying that era of NBA was as good as it got - it goes without saying that the Lakers were a major factor.
     
  2. this question has been nagging at my mind for quite sometime. If the Lakers hadn't got bumrushed by the Rockets in the West Finals that year, would the Celtics still have won that chip? Oh yeah, some of Game 6 of the '86 Finals is on YouTube. Dennis Johnson was all over Robert Reid like R. Kelly at a junior high prom. He really was a top-notch defender.
