Catholic groups are upset over an April Daily Show skit in which Jon Stewart encouraged women to use "vagina mangers" to "protect their reproductive organs from unwanted medical intrusions." It was accompanied by a photoshop graphic of a manger between a woman's legs.

They have encouraged advertisers to boycott the show and today Delta Airlines pulled its advertising.

Asked to apologize, Stewart replied, "I'm not going to censor myself to comfort your ignorance."

Ooh. This could be good. I figure they take it head-on on the show.

Since it's Delta, I'm shocked they didn't schedule to pull their ads two weeks ago but wind up running them because of unforeseen delays.

Of course, the religious group gets all offended by the skit and ignores the reason why the skit was created in the first place.

    I love Stewart's response...

Me too. Advertising dollars can be very persuasive when it comes to a cable talk show host, and I'm glad he stood his ground. I'd expect nothing less of him.

Stupid Obama backing same-sex marriage ruined the show. :D

Seriously, though, you could tell they pretty much had to scrap and rewrite about 65 percent of the show in about an hour because the news of Obama's endorsement came out around 3 p.m. P

Not one of their best shows. Hopefully, with more time to work on it, tomorrow's show will be better.

They can always just show comedy clips from Fox News. Those gifts keep on giving
