Delightful, sugary things you put in your mouth

    We shared this last week for desert.

    It is called a Bittersweet Chocolate Sphere.

    They bring it out and it looks like a marbelized chocolate ball sitting on top of an almond chocolate crumb mixture.

    Then they pour hot chocolate over it and it melts and inside there are bananas, a frangipane mixture and sweet almonds. You just go to town on it with a spoon.

    Here are pictures before they pour the hot chocolate on, during and after.

    That may have been the secret ingredient.

    I don't usually like chocolately things that much, but that was really good. Entire meal is always good at that restaurant.

    Bravo, Versatile. Bravo. I had three brownie squares instead of two last Thursday, and I swear the neighbor dogs yelped when I blasted the upstairs bog. Throw chocolate chips in there and I could knock out Iran's nukes.
