    I know we have 30 for 30 threads here but we've also talked about Joe Delaney a lot. Glad they did this one one him.

    I was 11 or 12 -- a football-mad Rams fan in L.A. -- and remember being really sad and bummed after hearing that Joe Delaney died in a drowning. One of the first times I'd come to understand what death meant in the grand scheme.

    Hardly ever saw a Chiefs game outside of them playing the Raiders but I followed the NFL and knew that Joe Delaney was a great running back.

    Did ESPN not get rights to show Joe's Chiefs highlights? There are hardly any in that piece. Disappointing.

    I can't read or see anything about Joe Delaney without choking up or outright crying. I wish the 30 for 30 had been longer. It would have cost me a few extra tissues, but it would have been worth it. RIP Joe.
