Did anyone's paper tear up A1 to get it on there?

Not A1, but tore up our skybox and stuck it prominently inside.

Here's the great first-person account Woodward wrote when Felt confirmed his identity in 2005: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/06/01/AR2005060102124.html

And the story of Bernstein's first -- and only -- meeting with "Deep Throat" just last month: http://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/20081120/NEWS/811200327/1348/NEWS09?Title=A__Deep_Throat__reunion

And, of course, the Vanity Fair article itself: http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/features/2005/07/deepthroat200507

For some reason, I thought he died, like, last year or something. And yes, he was an American hero.

  8. Linda Lovelace died in '02 - WTF

  9. Here is my question: Does Felt deserve the Presidential Medal of Freedom?
Does he deserve to he recognized and honored by the government for his actions that led to Watergate?
IMO absolutely, but could an argument be made against honoring Felt?
I'm sure some of the Nixon cronies, those still alive anyway, see him as little more than a bitter whistle blower who was passed over.
But I think his actions were every bit as gallant as Dan Ellsberg, who I also think should be honored with the Medal of Freedom.
    Thoughts?

Is Hanks still playing him in the bio pic that was being talked about when this broke a few years back?

In what way is he a "great American hero"?

And I remembered thinking she was dead already when it happened. She'd actually become an anti-porn activist.
