deep fried pizza

I still can't wrap my mind around deep-fried ice cream ... but I've heard of it.

 

That's actually good.

Deep fried other things, though...

 

OK, but walk a Canadian ice cream-loving blond around it ... deep-fried ice cream ... doesn't it melt?

 

You hard freeze the ice cream, lightly batter it and fry REALLY quickly.

And it gets pretty soft.

 

Hmmmm, that sounds like it's worth a try. Jury still out on deep-fried pizza, turkey and just about anything else ...

 

Deep-fried Twinkies ... a.k.a. heart attack on a stick ... are fucking amazing.

 

I just can't imagine how deep fried snacks like that, or candy bars, could be tasty. Makes me wanna yak.

Wouldn't the deep-fried pizza thing be sort-of like a calzone?

i was repulsed by the thought of deep fried candy bars until i had one at a state fair and it was delicious. disgustingly fattening and something i'd eat at most once a year, but delicious.

so i'd give deep fried pizza a try but i wouldn't be optimistic.
