Death Row. Your last meal

I remember in one of the John Madden books, during his travels, he stopped off at a place to eat, which was right next to a death row prison. The restaurant owner said he had just cooked an inmate his last meal, which was just a burger and bun, with no condiments or anything with it.

Always thought that was a little unique. What would be going through the guy's head to just want that one little thing for his final meal.

He said "bacon-wrapped." That makes it OK.

Not even bacon makes asparagus OK. That's how bad it is.

    My mom's lasagna and meatballs.

As kids, one of the rules/traditions of our house was that the birthday boy or girl always got to choose what was for dinner on their special day. Every year, everybody always knew what I'd ask for, and, even to this day, my mother still makes this for me if we're together on my birthday. Love her lasagna. Love her more.

I'd request something like that bacon and Krispy Kreme wrapped hot dog, so I maybe could have a heart attack before I got what was coming to me.
